But then that contrast is the most likely thing to fade over time. Plus the strokes of colour down the side create the greatest painterly effect on the shoe.
The shoe looks very good again.
I am considering buying a shoe from lodgerwear. What about quality of their shoes? Can it last for many years?

will the color of the shoe fade if no polishing done?
It shouldn’t, no, as the colour is in the dye rather than the polish. Though prolonged wear or exposure to sunlight could affect that.
Neutral or a yellow polish will retain the same finish to the shoe as well.
