Only if you can travel to somewhere else three times or more for appointments I'm afraid.
Brown chalkstripe suit from Fred Nieddu/Taillour: Review
Covered above on the staining Mark - a reason to do it less or not on paler materials for me. Thinking about the T-shirt as originally underwear I think only gets us so far. That was a long time ago, and the body of a…
Collars are more flattering with tailoring – but do you care?
I am in India but I want to get a three-roll-two button blue pinstripe suit made from London. I don’t wish to spend more than £7,000. Any suggestions?
Thank you for your valuable answer

I don't like the look at all. It looks unfinished. I find the look odd, i.e., wearing a suit coat or odd coat with a t-shirt which has it origins as underwear. Wouldn't the collar get stained with skin oil and perspiration?
I think most men look better without an Elizabethan collar, but that's just a personal opinion.
The T-shirt under tailoring
Another slim necked guy here, and I feel your pain. I often try tees under jackets and have found that success often comes down to the type of collar on the t-shirt. The heavier bound collar and higher back on the Permanent Style t-shirt, for…
Should do, yes. Currently delivery is meant to be in two weeks' time
Kind of showy: All black jacket and jeans
It's the City Hunter from The Armoury - see post here
Interesting, thanks Brian. I think quite a few people feel like that, but don't put it into words - at least when they first try something new
Thanks Rich, and no of course not - if I minded I wouldn't publish images of myself where I don't think I look good! Cheers for the points
Thank you, yes that is a typo. Changed now
Nice point, it's why this is a question that is more subjective that most forums would have you believe - there is no right or wrong answer, just different affects and it depends what you want or need to get across
Yes, the height of the collar definitely makes a difference - and it's a fine line, I find anything that becomes a mock neck is too unusual for me. I'm sure you know the piece, but for anyone else we talked about necklines on knitwear…
Thanks. No change to my trapezius I don't think, no
It's the two-ply high-twist wool from Drapers, in the Ascot bunch. They are the trousers from this suit
Coloured summer jackets: Final Anderson & Sheppard commission
Waist and suppression and boxy are not necessarily the same, no, but they are related. Boxy tends to mean both lack of suppression and square shoulders - together creating the box shape. Adding waist suppression is unlikely to be against someone's house style, I wouldn't…
I think it's definitely subjective, and how forced it looks varies with time and location. Right now I don't think it looks that forced, as least where I am. Certainly less forced than most of the trainers-with-suits looks!
True, but they're certainly very practical
Interesting, good points, and completely agree on how women think about this kind of thing. You might like this post on how I've learnt to dress my body better too, in case you hadn't seen it.

Hi Simon. Will this black denim shirt see the light of day this year as a product?
Hi Simon, thanks for another interesting and useful article. I don’t recognise the jacket yourself wearing with the white jeans. Where is it from and have you written about it?
I do find that collars are considerably more flattering for me. However, I believe the larger issue is the dress/attitude correlation. I have found that when I wear a t-shirt (even nice merino examples) I feel underdressed; when I put on a collared shirt I…
