Permanent Style is glad to have been named one of the top 10 blogs to peruse during London Fashion Week by AskMen in the US. Not that we’ll be at many of the shows, most exhibiting a style of too transient a nature. But Tautz is set to have a good one, following up on last year’s success.
My pleasure

Congrats, Simon – well deserved!
Simon,
Excellent blog. I am not sure where to post this question so I post it here.
I see from your posts on your Graham Browne suits that they have a horsehair canvas. When I was recently in Browne’s they told me that their canvasses are made from wool. Did you order horsehair canvas as an “extra”? Or have they just recently gone over to wool canvases?
Many thanks,
S
Congrats Sir!
Congratulations
S,
Graham Browne usually uses canvas that’s a horsehair/wool mix, but there are a few options for different weights, with different mixes.
Simon
Many thanks for the answer Simon. Could you perhaps also explain the benefits of horsehair vs wool canvas? Is horsehair “better” or just tradition?
Many thanks,
S
